Doctors

Our doctors are therapeutically certified, highly trained and are experienced in providing all levels of eye care except surgery. They will carefully monitor your eyes over time to promptly diagnose cataracts and treat chronic disease such as glaucoma. They are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to treat acute problems including eye injuries or infections.

Dr. Mary Vadas, O.D.

Dr. Vadas grew up in Spencerport. She graduated from Niagara University with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology. She received her Doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in 1992. Dr. Vadas resides in Ogden with her husband and three children

Dr. Susan Yorks, O.D.

Dr. Yorks is originally from the Honeoye Falls area. She attended Hartwick College and received her Doctorate from the New England College of Optometry in 1992. In addition to her practice here, she is an associate with The Robbins Laser Center in Rochester. She and her husband have two boys and reside in Penfield.

A Therapeutically Certified doctor has acheived the additional certification required by New York State to treat eye disease with the use of ophthalmic medications. This includes the treatment of conjunctivitis, keratitis, eye injuries, glaucoma, and iritis
