Dr. Mary Vadas
Optometrist
Dr. Mary Vadas earned her undergraduate degree from Niagara University before moving to Boston to complete her professional training at the prestigious New England College of Optometry, where she received her Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree. Following her clinical training, she chose to settle locally with her husband to raise their 3 children and to build her private practice.
Dr. Mary Vadas is a dedicated eye care professional and the proud owner of Towne & Country Eyecare Associates. With a deep connection to Rochester’s west side, she has established her practice as a trusted destination for comprehensive vision care for families. Dr. Vadas leads a dedicated, close-knit team that provides a warm, patient-first approach with the latest advancements in optometric technology.
Under her leadership, the practice has invested in state-of-the-art diagnostic capabilities, including advanced dry eye analysis and digital workflows for a seamless, high-quality experience for every patient. Dr. Vadas is proud to serve local families in a warm and modern setting built on trust, thorough medical care, and exceptional service.
Dr. Megan Hart
Optometrist
Rochester native Dr. Megan Hart has been a trusted provider at Towne & Country Eye Care Associates since 2020. She earned her Bachelor of Science from SUNY University at Buffalo before graduating Cum Laude from the Illinois College of Optometry, where she was inducted into several prestigious academic and leadership honor societies.
Following advanced clinical training across Rhode Island, Florida, Illinois, and Georgia, Dr. Hart completed a specialized ocular disease residency at the Cleveland VA Medical Center. This intensive training fueled her deep passion for managing complex ocular disease and fitting specialty contact lenses. Outside the clinic, she enjoys crafting, traveling, and spending quality time with her family and her dog, Brooke. Dr. Hart is currently accepting new patients!
Dr. Mikayla Kemp
Optometrist
Dr. Mikayla Kemp was born and raised in Rochester, NY. She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from Daemen University before completing her Doctor of Optometry at Illinois College of Optometry in Chicago, IL. During her fourth year of optometry school, she remained in the Chicago area, gaining experience at various private practices and rotating through multiple specialties at Illinois Eye Institute, including ocular disease, geriatrics, cornea/contact lenses, and pediatrics.
Dr. Kemp is passionate about comprehensive eye care and has a special interest in myopia management. Outside of the office, she enjoys quality time with her fiancé, Jack, and their beloved pug, Penny.
